My website does not come up in the browser

If your website does not come up in the browser, and instead shows a connection error, your website's IP may still be resolving.

1. Find your new ip by entering your domain name into http://www.secureweburl.com/account/iplookup.cgi.

2. Type the new IP into your browser and hit enter. If you still receive a connection error, proceed to the next step.

3. In Windows, click Start > Run, then type 'command' and hit enter.

4. At the prompt, type ping mydomainame.com and hit enter

5. If the ping shows the old IP, it is still propagating to your location. The website is likely to be reachable by others outside of your network.

If the ping shows the new IP, and you still cannot bring the website up in your browser, contact us.
